Doctor Of Chaplaincy Program

Saint Luke Evangelical School Of Biblical Studies' Chaplaincy Program can be used to earn your Doctor of Chaplaincy degree, or simply as a resource for the lay minister or chaplain.

The degree for this program is awarded in meritorious recognition of the successful completion of the selected lessons concerning Chaplaincy. The duties of a Chaplain are many and diverse. This unique set of lessons has been specially chosen to prepare the heart as well as the mind of the student so that they may be prepared for the many unique demands placed on the active Chaplain. Also unique to this course of lessons is the Chaplain's Quick Reference Resource, which, while there's no test for, is designed as a handy resource for the active Chaplain. While not required, candidates for this degree may also choose to submit a written paper on any Bible or Christianity related topic. Especially welcome are papers on Christian counseling, and Biblical apologetics.

Grading will be on a pass/fail basis. Candidates for the Doctor of Chaplaincy degree must receive a satisfactory (passing) mark on the majority of the tests to receive a final passing grade. Test papers will be graded and returned to the student along with their degree. Any papers submitted remain the property of Saint Luke Evangelical School Of Biblical Studies but will not be used for any purpose without the express written permission of the student.
