Church General Support Fund

 

In addition to being the parent ministry of the First International Church of the Web, Saint Luke Evangelical Christian Ministries is also a local fellowship meeting as an emerging church in Hephzibah, Georgia. After holding services in the same building for a period of four years, we're now meeting in our members' homes, public parks, and wherever becomes available. Our local fellowship are a small but faithful congregation who truly love our church and are committed to worshiping together. These are the folks you see in the pictures we post of our services. The young people enjoy participating in our services, and we all enjoy the casual and friendly spirit that has always been the hallmark of a St. Luke's worship service.

While we were renting a church building the online membership of the First International Church of the Web contributed to a monthly building fundraiser. Since we are no longer renting, we are no longer burdened with the many expenses involved with keeping the building, and the fundraiser was ended. Some of our online members, however, understanding that every ministry has its expenses, have requested a general church support fund be established so those who feel led to do so may contribute to supporting the local fellowship. We don't have a set monthly goal for this fund, nor should anyone feel compelled to contribute - it's just for those online members who want to give in whatever amounts they feel led in support of this ministry.

Contributions are made with the understanding that any funds raised are to be used in whatever capacity Brother Dave sees fit or finds necessary. It is our prayer that some members will feel led to give of themselves in this manner in support of both the online ministry and the local fellowship. Having a local fellowship worshiping together weekly is one of the things that makes the online ministry of St. Luke's so unique, and provides a physical presence that complements the online ministry. Any amount you are led to contribute would be a great blessing - even the smallest gift can make a big difference.
