Church Newsletter For January 1, 1999

Greetings from one who loves you!

I would like to start by wishing each and every one of you a very Happy New Year! I pray that 1999 is a wonderful and Spirit filled year for you and all your loved ones. I also encourage each of you to share more fellowship with the other members of our church this year by visiting the Church Bulletin Board, and get to know one another more. We have a wonderful group of folks who post regularly on the bulletin board, with discussions on everything from Bible verses to building web sites, from prayer requests to praise reports, with graphics and good fellowship throughout. So, come on, join with us!

The church has two new features for 1999! First, we have now available for all the members a special Member's Start-Up Page, where you'll find fast links to the most popular and frequently visited pages and services on our site. It's located on a seperate, faster server, with no pop-up ads or any of those things. You can visit this site by clicking Here, or on the graphic above.

Another exciting feature is the new Free Web-Based E-Mail Service available from our church. Now you can have a web-based e-mail account with an @ficotw.zzn.com address. Use it for personal mail, or for your ministry mail, and display your affiliation with The First International Church Of The Web. The Start-Up Page and the FICOTW Free E-Mail Service are seamlessly integrated with our church, with the same atmosphere of our church web site. Please consider visiting and using these services, I think you'll enjoy them.

Finally, I've decided to proclaim 1999 the Official Year of Internet Ministry for our church. I strongly encourage each of you to increase your efforts at using this wonderful medium to share Christ with the world. Whether you maintain a Christian web site, have an online church, or simply witness to others in chat rooms, your efforts do make a difference. Keep up the great work, and let's win lots of souls for Christ in 1999!

Well, that's all the church news for now. Before I go, I'd like to thank everyone for making our church what it is. Also, a special word of thanks to those members who participated in the end-of-year counter push, to push the church hit counter over 30,000 on New Year's Eve. Thank you all for your help in reaching this milestone for our church.

Please remember that you remain in my thoughts and prayers at all times. God bless you.

Yours in Christ,
Brother Dave
